To go with it, here is a simple recipe for cookies with longan fruit, black sesame and cinnamon.

- 1/2 cup black sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
PREPARATION
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
2. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in a bowl.
3. In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter with the brown sugar until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
4 Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture and stir until a smooth batter forms.
5. Add the chopped longan fruit and black sesame seeds and mix the dough evenly.
6. Form small balls from the dough and place them on the prepared baking tray. Flatten the balls slightly.
7 Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for approx. 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Leave the cookies to cool on the baking tray for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Sit back and enjoy! Enjoy your meal!
