Non-alcoholic beer
A nice alternative to gan mai da zao tang tea is the use of non-alcoholic wheat beer. A glass of cool wheat beer in the evening can calm you down and promote sleep. However, as wheat beer is highly moisturizing, beer consumption should never be exaggerated. A syrup made from red dates, liquorice, longan fruit and honey can be made to further optimize the beer in the direction of calming the mind.
PREPARATIONS
Leave to infuse for 3 h / cook for 35 min.
INGREDIENTS
- 50 g da zao red dates*
- 50 g long yan rou longan fruits*
- 30 g bai he lily bulbs
- 30 g gan cao liquorice
- 40 g gelling sugar

INSTRUCTIONS
Place the herbs in a saucepan, cover with a little water and simmer for 30 minutes. Then puree with a hand blender to a fine paste, cover and leave to infuse with the preserving sugar for 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Then boil for 5 minutes, pour into a jam jar and close. Stir a spoonful of syrup into a cool, non-alcoholic beer and enjoy the fruity, sweet and soothing beer.
