Winter Magic Tea
The spicy Winter Magic Tea is a balanced composition of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, fennel seeds, liquorice and codonopsis root, and the very special thing about this tea is the use of two different types of high quality cinnamon. It is a combination of a sweet Ceylon edible cinnamon with a very rare, spicy Cassia cinnamon from Vietnam. These special cinnamon varieties combined with dried ginger give the tea an incomparable sweet and spicy taste. The cardamom it contains is also a specialty. These are pure, intensely flavored cardamom fruit seeds. The peel, which is usually included, has been completely removed. Cardamom warms the core of the body and harmonizes digestion, while the slightly sweet codonopsis root, which has been used in Asia for thousands of years to strengthen the body's energy levels, is also included. Winter Magic Tea is rounded off with fennel seeds, which also have a warming effect, and sweet liquorice roasted in honey.
Secret tip
Winter Magic Tea is also ideal for making mulled wine. One packet flavours approx. 2 liters of wine. Simply simmer the red wine over a low heat with the herbs for about an hour. Citrus fruits such as oranges or lemons can be added to the mulled wine to give it a little acidity and sugar can be added to make it even sweeter, depending on taste.
