The Power of the Center – Gut Health and Metabolism
A Talk From the Perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Healthy digestion is about much more than simply processing food. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it is considered the foundation for energy, vitality, and overall well-being. When the gut and metabolism are out of balance, it can affect many aspects of health, leading to fatigue, low energy, and a reduced sense of well-being.
In our lecture “The Power of the Center – Gut Health and Metabolism” on August 27, 2026, we will explore the central role of the “Middle” in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is regarded as the source of vital energy and plays an essential role in transforming food into the energy and nourishment the body needs to thrive.
What you can expect from the presentation:
- The Importance of the “Middle”: In TCM, the Middle is considered the core of digestion and a vital source of energy and overall vitality.
- Understanding Gut Health and Metabolism: Learn how digestion and metabolism contribute to maintaining health, energy, and well-being.
- Recognizing the Signs of Imbalance: When the Middle is weakened, it can affect energy levels, physical performance, and overall wellness.
- Natural Ways to Support Your Health: TCM offers time-tested approaches to help strengthen digestion, metabolism, and energy production.
- Practical Tips for Everyday Life: Simple habits and easy-to-apply recommendations can help support and strengthen your Middle over time.
