Talk on Boosting Vitality and the Immune System
A Talk From the Perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Health is the result of the interaction of many factors. Traditional Chinese medicine does not view people in isolation according to individual symptoms, but as a whole: bodily functions, energetic balance, emotions, lifestyle, environment, and natural rhythms are in constant interaction.
A central element of this holistic view is the body's defenses, referred to in TCM as wei qi. It protects the body from external influences, regulates the surface and is closely linked to general vitality. If there is sufficient energy and it flows freely, people feel resilient, stable, and able to cope with stress. However, if there are weaknesses, stagnation, or blockages in the energy balance, this can lead to complaints such as susceptibility to infection, exhaustion, or allergic reactions.
TCM therefore attaches great importance to recognizing energetic imbalances at an early stage, understanding the connections, and responding to them in a targeted manner. External influences as well as internal factors such as emotions, constitution, and individual energy patterns play a decisive role in this.
This talk will give a clear picture of how vitality and the immune system arise from the perspective of TCM, how energy problems can be identified, and what options are available to consciously support and stabilize the immune system and energy balance in everyday life.
Goals of the talk
- Develop a holistic understanding of vitality and the immune system from the perspective of TCM
- Learn to better classify energetic weaknesses, patterns, and blockages
- Recognize the influence of emotions, lifestyle, and external factors on the body's defenses
- Gain insight into selected natural substances and traditional home remedies to support the immune system
