Give yourself and those around you a happy smile. Rose petals mei gui hua and lily bulbs bai he provide a pleasant calming effect and give the tea a delicate taste. These are complemented by the sweet longan fruits long yan rou, the licorice gan cao and the red dates da zao. The peppermint bo he brings freshness and cools the liver (TCM understands this to include symptoms such as irritability, mood swings, headaches, visual disturbances, insomnia and menstrual disorders). While lian zi xin cools heart fire (e.g. restlessness, insomnia, palpitations, restlessness, emotional imbalance). Finally, mai ya improves the flow of energy in the body and relieves food stagnation (indigestion). This tea combines the beneficial properties of these herbs to promote well-being and balance both body and mind.

Put one teaspoon of herbs per cup of tea in hot water and let it steep for five to ten minutes. The herbal mixture can be reused several times. Drink two to three cups spread throughout the day.
